The last few chapters where quite action packed. So much happened. I think it was a worthy ending. Although I don’t understand how many prisoners escaped nor who has been left behind and why. And I do not understand why the rebellious Rephs stayed since the ruling class has not been overthrown. Won’t they suffer punishment?
Worldbuilding wise I have more questions than after the second part. But that’s ok since it is no standalone. I will probably pick up Mime Order because the setting will be different and I am curious to see more of Jaxon Hall. He is so flamboyant and overdramatic.
My favourite part of the book was when Paige took control over the butterfly and realized she should not be in that body and panicked. That was unexpected and unsettling in its strangeness.
The worst part of the book was the scene where Paige tried to get a deck of cards for Liss. Getting caught twice on one trip made Paige look like a fool.
@Llyrian What was your favourite scene?
