firstly; the flow of the story is kind of annoying. back and forth and no real build up or development. Warden is the most likely to slowly become a character. Paige is a slow developer.
secondly; time lapse, numbers, duration, number of people - it all makes little sense. yes.
the riot really seemed to be the cause of the decimation and how many live and work in scion is also unclear to me. especially since there is an unworld.
thirdly; yes i think the world “scion” is technologically dependent on the Reph and was created out of fear and greed.
There are still two more books. Although I think if they continue to be written in such a long-winded, unspectacular way, I’ll pass. Editor please?
