Unfortunately, I don’t have Facebook anymore and when I tried to create a mock-account (as I was not sure if my old data is still somewhere on Meta’s servers and I did not want my 20-year-old self to be resurrected ), the new account was rejected… Do you see any other possibility to inform me of the book/date? Maybe simply by email (without voting option in that case)? As I often work late shifts, I would probably be outvoted anyway, especially the larger the group gets So I would simply try to adjust my working timetable as soon as you have a date/time? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you in advance

I am sorry for my late reply, I have fallen terribly behind on my messages/emails I have some days off at work and I am clearing my “backlog” now…

You are right, it is really a pity that there is no English book club in Winterthur (yet) when there are such beautiful cafes! A real desideratum to start one

Thank you for sharing your reading interests and your intention to get to know new books Sounds like a match! Both historical and speculative fiction are definitely among my reading interests as well. Same as you, I also read and am interested in a wide variety of genres, ranging from classics to historical novels, dystopias/science fiction, crime novels and contemporary literary works, and I am excited to discover new things in a book club!

Great idea, if you have the opportunity to contact some bookclubs in Zurich, there might be more people actually living in Winterthur who might be interested to join
