“I’d be happy to be upset because at least if I was, I could believe that I’m capable of falling in love.”
While I was reading this book, all I could think of was, “How the hell does Hannah Grace know what’s going on in my head?” There are so many good quotes to choose from, but the one mentioned at the top was by far the most relatable one for me. Unlike other novels from Hannah Grace, “Daydream” introduces characters whose struggles and thoughts are very realistic, which makes the story more pleasant to read. For once, the spice did not feel weird, and it was the perfect amount. Nevertheless, the plot was more about self-fulfillment rather than putting on pink glasses and making love every ten secons, which was really refreshing!
Definitely a good piece of literature for someone who wants to shut off their brain for a second and relax.
