Up to the last 50 pages I was ready to give this book at least 4 if not 5 stars. The characters are incredibly well written, the story is captivating and there is also some spice and sexual tension, which is always nice to have.
However, the ending was so incredibly disappointing, with pretty much everything unresolved and many pages where the characters are simply too philosophical for their own good. Throughout these elongated last pages, I have been waiting for something to happen. Anything really. Just give me ANY resolution or action or whatever. I am so utterly disappointed, which is why this book does not deserve more stars. Nonetheless, I feel forced to read the sequel and i desperately hope it will provide the resolution I seek.
