Yesterday evening I started reading and this morning I thought I would read to page 128 and post my comment here. But well… I spent most of my day reading on and - whoops - I just finished the whole book. Needless to say, I really liked the story, there were even a few times when I chuckled out loud. 😉
To answer your questions, Belana, I think the story really delivers on what the blurb promises, and my first impression was that this would be a solid romance book. But I think it was more than that. I really liked that the author shows her love for books through Daphne being a librarian and I was taken back to my own childhood and how I got into reading (and actually, as a little side note, my very first job was in the library where I reshelved books). Also, it’s not just a love story, it’s a story about the importance of friendship. I really enjoyed that aspect as well. The dynamic between Daphne and Miles is exciting, and I really liked seeing how it all played out.
