This book is wonderfully written, however rather cruel to read at times, due to the main characters condition, but nevertheless it is a heartwarming and uplifting story in the end, which I recommend reading if you like this kind of difficult and almost “outcast” female characters. It delves into the complex and challenging nature of the main character’s condition, which makes it emotionally intense. But it also shows the resilience of a human spirit and can leave you with a lasting impact to think twice about people you might deem a bit weird, backward or even “simple”.
