This was a lovely read. A cute romance story that I normally struggle with reading, as the ones I’ve read so far mostly are too full of clichés and problems which almost entirely could be avoided or resolved through communication.
This story carries some clichés too but they didn’t bother me (as much), since the biggest one - lack of communication - wasn’t over-used. In fact, it felt authentic and I really enjoyed reading about how Bailey, a self proclaimed ‘Artful Dodger’, learned how to communicate. Especially in her blossoming relationship with Porter.
Also, I really like the author’s style of writing. I flew through the pages while still savouring the words.
So, if you’re looking for a cute and easy summer read, this might be the one for you
