No one knows or cares what or who lives in the tunnels under Stockholm. It’s not a place Mina Dabiri wants to visit, but when bones are found in the Subway, she has no choice but to investigate—with the help of Vincent Walder, the Mentalist. Get ready for the conclusive final case.
I would never have believed that this collaboration between Mina Dabiri and Vincent Walder could end like this, not after those successful previous books. That’s why my expectations were rather high, with a slight hope of continuation despite the conclusive announcement. Reading Mirage leaves me disappointed, too confusing and long-winded. The suspense was lost right from the start, and that shocking end was, in my opinion, an attempt to bring back the suspense. This twist, out of the blue, was more confusing than helpful. I would have wished for a different ending for the main protagonists.
