Had this book sitting in my bookshelf for probably around a decade. Having read many holocaust surviver books, this one fictional and so far away from reality, it was the worst one I read in December 2024. It was easy to get through, but completely bland and obvious from the beginning. It’s void of evoking real emotion I have felt in many of the others. This book will surely not stay with me.
