It always dangerous to read a hyped book, your expectations might be too high, that’s why I had this one on my TBR for quite some time. But it didn’t disappoint, on contrary sucked me in from the start. There’s a lot of action and some spice, enough to be interesting but not too much to dominate the plot.

Violet is forced to chose the path of a (dragon) rider, although trained to be a scribe. She doesn’t just surrender to her fate, but grows beyond herself. Noone not even herself believed she would survive, but there she goes bonding to strongest dragon. Now she just has to be sure who’s a friend and who’s a foe.
