A very entertaining story. Tricia Levenseller proved once again how well written her novels are. I think I even have to admit that “Warrior of the Wild” was more enjoyable than “Daughter of the Pirate King” and “Daughter of the Siren Queen”. I was really delighted by the world-building in this book. It felt like Levenseller put a lot of effort into everything that took place around the story (places, characters, etc.), which I definitely look for in a good novel. I also liked the strong female leader and how she evolved throughout the story. Especially the whole conflict about overcoming trauma and dealing with traitorship. I felt like the presence of Rasmira’s (main character) trauma, even if she was not specifically thinking about it, which made the whole story more convincing and more entertaining. Even though one of the plot twists was kind of predictable, the story stayed thrilling until the end which made it very difficult to stop reading. Little spice, maximum “female empowerment”, definitely a 5/5!
