It’s basically a good consept: a short collection of mostly one- to two-page impulses that the author Derek himself considers valuable due to his experiences and therefore wants to share. They are organised by subject for orientation.
The book was recommended to me. But in the end it is somewhat vacuous and leaves no lasting impression. In my opinion, some of the impulses even contradict each other. For me, all in all, okay to read but not a win. And somehow I almost feel sorry for that. I would like to like this book, but I just don’t.
