What a great book, I read it in one sitting! Ok , I have to admit, it’s not a very long story but nevertheless, I gobbled it up with great delight!
It’s the triumphant story of two old Athabascan women in Alaska, cast out and left behind by their tribe when hunger and misfortune strikes them.
One woman is ready to give up, but the other one is not so easily defeated and together they develope a strong will to survive. And they not only survive, but do it very well at that!
Great story and easy to read!
