The second book in this trilogy is just as magical as the first. Picking up right where the first book left off, you’re immediately drawn into the story. The banter between Jack and Evangeline gets stronger as they can’t seem to get out of each other’s minds, which only makes their mission to open the Valory Arch more complicated than before. Meanwhile, we are left with many unanswered questions about Jacks’ motivations, Apollo’s curse and what will happen when they finally succeed in opening the Arch.
