As the book promises, it is more than a biography. From the author’s first contact with true crime and how and why he changed his approach to investigative work.
I found it interesting to follow Jenssen’s thoughts and habits as a child and later as an adult. Unfortunately this load of information results in a lengthy tale, there’s a lot to process for the reader. But the rules about how to become a private crime solver could be fascinating for every true crime lover.
