There were several things I didn’t enjoy about this book.
I didn’t get a clear motivation for the main character’s actions, even though the book is written from his perspective. For a while he seems to be consumed by thoughts of revenge, yet never acts on it and then that storyline just gets dropped.
I also don’t like that most of the women seem to get judged by their looks and many of them the main character is lusting after.
The characters in general are not fleshed out and as a result I didn’t really care about any of them. In general the descriptions of people and locations aren’t very detailed, except for the big fight scenes.
Also constant illogical actions, especially by the main character, annoyed me a lot.
Maybe the world could be interesting if we followed another character in it, but as is I have no interest in reading more books in this series.
