I needed a book for a chill reading, to relax my mind and this book was good for that. It ist easy to read. The first half of the book is just kinda sweet and lovely stuff, the second half is a bit more action and dark. I think it’s not my best read, but it was good for my current mood. I kinda liked how the characters were made and the story was told in two different perspectives. It also had some spicy scenes.
It’s about Ava who falls in love with the best friend of her brother. He, Alex, is unreadable and shows almost no emotions. Ava’s brother moved away for 1 year and he asked Alex to watch over Ava. While doing what he was asked for, they get to know each other better. I don’t want to spoil too much about the main part here. But as almost always there is some drama and yeah.
I saw a lot on BookTok about that book and thought there would be something that would have let my jaw drop, but it was nothing special. At least it’s a nice summerday read 🙂
