Echo Burning has the potential to be read in one go.
The story reads absolutely fluently, the events fit together. A harmonious overall picture is formed with the writing style and good characters. In this volume Jack Reacher comes out particularly strong, even if you already know him, it doesn’t get boring. The story could go on endlessly, his way of solving cases is fascinating. With the Jack Reacher series, you only know how the stories start and end. He appears from somewhere and in the end, Reacher disappears with no particular destination. But the part in between, that’s where the author invents something new, again and again, double-checked and triple-checked as Jack Reacher would say.
