I usually don’t give much on blurbs on the back of a book, but no time for goodbye altered my opinion. Those introductions aren’t only a spacefiller, this book is an emotional roller coaster at high speed to the end.
Initially, all might seem like a joke, and you don’t quite see where the author is taking you, I had no clue. But the more I progressed with the story, the more I detected something completely wrong. To find out what caused the disappearance of Cynthia’s family, I was forced to read on.
I already know Linwood Barclay from the Promise Falls books, a series I couldn’t put down until the last one was finished. No time for goodbye is written very similarly, is interesting, and read in a rush. This author doesn’t only write words down; he plays with them, and they evolve into a suspenseful story.
I can’t wait to begin the follow-up no safe house.
Hop on the roller coaster and enjoy the ride, sleepless night might be guaranteed.
