This book was recommended to me so many times, saying that the plottwist was really good.

I’m not easy to surprise, plottwist-wise, but I thought hey, so many people loved it and said it’s a good twist so I’ll see for myself, and was quite disappointed. I saw the whole scheme coming from a quarter of the book in, so when it finally happened I was so disappointed that I seriously considered not finishing it, but since it was only a couple more pages I powered through it.

All in all I liked the premise of the story just fine, I do think it used a couple over-used YA tropes but I did read the book in one sitting, so that means something.

It’s not a bad book, I just think it’s genuinely overhyped. If you feel like reading it, lower your expectations, and you’ll probably be fine :'D
