The Hogwarts Express is ready to depart, jump on and immerse into a, for non-wizards incomprehensible, magical world. Keep your mind open and join Harry, Ron, and Hermione on their journey back to Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry. Their fourth year is about to start, a lot to learn and a lot to see for all three of them, but this term will be the most fascinating and dangerous.
Also in this fourth installment of the Harry Potter Series, you won’t get bored, even though the characters and the place are the same as in the previous novels. The author skillfully weaves past events into the story, but only in barely noticeable hints, therefore it is not necessary to have read the last volumes. But I recommend it because knowing what happened entirely is essential.
During the last books and the Goblet of Fire, I could witness how immensely those three characters have developed. I enjoyed the dialogue and how they grew into a team, showing their weaknesses and strength to master every obstacle. I read this book many years ago, and it hooked me again. Back then and now, Professor McGonagall is still my favorite character in the whole series. Her stern yet witty manner makes you smile, and the dialogue fits her role perfectly.
