Another great thriller with Harry Bosch.
At the end of his career Bosch is in the Open-Unsolved Unit working on a rape-murder case from 1989. DNA is found, but the suspect, today a convicted rapist, was only 8 years old back then. Before he can solve this mystery, Bosch is assigned to another case, the Concilman’s Son supposedly jumped from a window. Although no fan of Bosch, the Concilman wanted the best investigator. But he’s not the only one with an own agenda…
There are lots of plottwists to keep you glued to the pages. And I thought the titel “the drop” to be very clever. DROP is the abbreviation of the retirement programm, one victim dropped from a window, Bosch wants to drop his partner, there are lots of different meanings of “drop”.
