The first time I saw this book, I said to myself that it is not nessesary to read it. Then I saw a POV on Tiktok and my curiosity told me I have to. Well… my first impression was right.
The plot is cute and i really want to know how it ends with Catalina and Aaron, so I definitly will finish the book. But I’m not a fan of how it is written. In my opinion, the potential was not fully exploited.
Also…the titel is “The Spanish Love Deseption” but where is the “Spanish”? It takes half of the book until these two are going to spain. In the first half it is all about can not stand each other, trying to ignore the fact that the other person isn’t that bad and still be mad about something that happened two YEARS ago.
I think the story is drawn out, lacking details and depth.
My conclusion:
The storyline is cute and definitly a book you can read if you want to calm down and read before sleeping. But if you are looking for a story with a thrilling plot and you are a demanding reader, it is absolutly not the right book for you.
