Prentisstown is not a personal city. In Prentisstown, everyone can hear each other’s thoughts. It’s still possible in Prentisstown. Nothing remains hidden. But the enemies of Prentisstown keep a terrible, a monstrous, inhuman secret. Prentisstown is the city of the damned. When Todd, the conflict rights man, comes across this secret, he has only one choice: to escape. Todd is running for his life.
The idea of the story is really exciting and good.
BUT the writing style and the really frequent repetitions make it difficult to get into a comfortable reading flow. Sometimes things are repeated so often that one might think it was a mantra.
Not just words, but entire contents are repeated in this book.
So I didn’t really get excited.
