I Loved the other Works of Jessie Burton, especially “The Muse”. So I was thrilled when I found “The Confession” in the Bookshop. It tells the Story of Rose, who is trying to finde out the truth about her long lost Mother Elise. Her Father never talked about Elise and so Rose is thrilled when he finally openes up and gives her two Novels to read and tells her that the Author Constance is connected with her Mother. Rose then tries to get to know Connie and the hunt for the truth begins. The Novel jumps from the Present, where Rose is on her quest. To the Past where we finde out about Elise and Connies life. I couldnt stop reading and was happy to try to get all the pieces of the puzzle together and to help Rose to find out what she wanted. I will not tell more… It is just great! enjoy
