I started with the last book of the series, but that wasn’t a problem in following the plot. Two people are found hanged in the same place. The first a suicide, the second a murder. Are the new residents responsible or is it a message that they aren’t welcome on the islands? Due to the remote scenary the number of suspects is limited. But the resolution still was somehow unforeseen. The author can leave you guessing and glued to the pages. The landscape is described beautifully, I already love Scotland and now I want to visit the Shetland Islands too. 1 point deduction, because the pace was too slow for my taste sometimes
