The struggle to live in a world that seems just too alien to ever find even footing in. A fascinating yet bitter and accurate depiction of depression, anxiety and the feeling of not being able to fit in a world, that you cannot understand.

It’s really hard to put into words how and why this book left it’s impression in my mind. I think it’s because the life of the narrator is inevetably mirrored in Osamus Dazais own experiences and reading about those ist just as fascinating and heartbreaking as the book. After reading this story I just cannot stop thinking about it. It feels like I get sucked into this peculiar vortex, this weird feeling of obsession I cannot shake off.
