I’m done with the book and my first thought was that I just have to give it 5 Stars!
I really liked being inside Patch’s head.😆 His audacity and confidence were refreshing, and I loved how his character evolved throughout the book. In the beginning he’s absolutely self centered, always thinks he is in the right and almost takes his friendships for granted, but in the end he learns to appreciate his friends more and learns how to be a better friend himself. I liked seeing him go through that journey.
Throughout the whole book I really enjoyed the humour and laughed out loud multiple times! But it also had some emotional moments, which added depth to the story and made it feel well-rounded. My favorite parts were always those, where Patch realized how much he actually appreciates his friends. To be honest, I enjoyed the parts about his friendships even more than the actual love story… 🤭
The only criticism I have is that towards the end, the writing became a bit repetitive, and Patch’s repeated references to Sam’s eyelashes as ‘cow lashes’ felt a little odd, (but funny, not gonna lie).😂
Overall, this book was a fun and light hearted read, and I’ll defenitely recommend it to some of my friends!
