Even though the author mentions a lot that this book is mainly how she practices and what her craft means to her and that it’s meant to inspire not instruct, I found this book extremely odd and weird to read, at times even dangerous.
If you’re a male witch, don’t read it.
If you’re trans, don’t read it.
If you’re even slightly unsure of your gender identity, don’t read it.
I found it very exclusionist and pretentious and ignorant, and a lot of it made me cringe involuntarily because it felt like I was in the first row of one of those culty self-improvement, mlm sceme presentations. I’m not a person that likes to write negative reviews, so that’s how stronly I feel about all of this.
