I was so excited at first! The whole idea sounded so intriguing and I love me some nerdy stuff. I don’t mind learning new things at all! But this… Kuang wants you to know she’s smart and uses this book to show it. At some point I just thought “I’ll just keep reading, no idea what all this means anymore.” Is she glorifying the educational system and privilege or is it satire? Why bring back a horrible person back from literal hell? At 50% this was already dragging and could have been shorter.
I am dissapointed and decided to move on to books that actually entertain me.
