Another horror classic, but this one dissapointet me. The setting and idea was great and that made me excited to read it but the characters, especially the women, felt so childish. There was no scary atmosphere created, everything supernatural the four people experienced was just noted. “Oh look, something over there moved! Anyways - ”
I missed the reaction you’d normally have to something like that.
Eleanor was a very interesting charackter but I felt so annoyed by the others , especially Montague’s wife later on.
I don’t know, it was not what I expected.
