I went into this book with no expectations — and I was not prepared for how GOOD it was going to be.
The perfect summer read! Vacation vibes, perfect tropes, a swoon-worthy love interest, hilarious dialogues, and amazing banter. So many vibrant characters, and the love story is gripping without being overly dramatic. The dual timeline adds just the right amount of depth while still keeping things light and entertaining. I truly enjoyed every single page. Easy my favorite Ali Hazelwood book so far!
Pro tip: Listen to the audiobook — it’s the best one I’ve ever listened to! The narrators are incredible and truly make the banter (and THAT accent) come alive. I’m honestly considering listening to more audiobooks narrated by them just because of their voices!
