The fourth book of the Joona Linna series which hasn’t lost its suspenseful grip.
In The Sandman the reader is confronted with an old case, which somehow is still connected to Joona Linna himself. For a long time he thought to have captured the right person, but as a long missed person reappears he’s not so sure anymore. The start of a new game begins, who is playing by the rules and who is out for revenge?
A fast paced gripping story with some gory details which might not be for everyone. Apart from that I found it a pleasure to read. The writing duo has a way to create a well liked balance between the atmosphere and characterisations. In every story you find out a bit more about the protagonists, which in turn helps to like them even more and grow fond of them easily. It’s easy to read as a standalone or in order of the series, the reader has the choice. Either way you could get addicted, but no worries there are more books to follow.
