The queer retelling of folk tales we've all been waiting for. At least I have ;)

The thrilling adventure of Robin Hood’s granddaughter and her Company of Merry Men (who are neither merry nor all men) who kidnap a healer. But they’re not very good at treating their captive like one. Soon Clem is part of Company (sort of)!

The author writes in such a way that it’s hard to put the book down. Although there are many names to memorise, I never felt like I was losing track. I had to get used to the swapping of first and last names, but once I realised who was meant by which last name, everything made sense.

*small spoiler ahead*

I’m not 100% happy with the ending though. I think it could have been another 50 to 100 pages longer to tie up all the loose threads. Don’t get me wrong, the big things are all wrapped up and explained. But some little things, like where will Clem live, will they have a long distance relationship, are still open. (Unless I’ve missed it. XD)
