Honestly, I live for enemies to lovers, and this book delivered exactly that. Burning hatred and witty banter. I enjoyed how somehow the book never slowed down without being overbearing. There has never been a dry or boring part. I love how all the secrets get slowly revealed until the very end, setting up for an interesting second book in that series.
So, if you are looking for a dark and moody book, with enemies to lovers, revenge and a found family, this might be for you. (Ah and don’t forget those hilarious margin notes by the author herself, loved it!)
