The truth is often closer than you think.
Lucy Clarke has delivered another masterpiece of deception, set on a distant island in beautiful Tasmania. From the very beginning of the story, the author conveys a wealth of suspense. I often thought the story was suspenseful enough, only to be proven wrong by the author. There is still room for improvement and I let myself be carried along by this wave until the final twist. Everything fitted very well for me: pleasant characters and a story that didn’t let boredom arise, not to mention the beautiful backdrop that invites you to dream. I can’t wait to read the next suspenseful book.
