I’ve came to read this book through the Netflix series. I really wanted to see more of Kaz and his crew, and this book this no disappoint. I’m unsure if starting with Six of Crows without having read or seen some of Shadow and Bone is the best idea, since it does imply a lot of knowledge you should already have beforehand.
The way each character has their own point of view which is unique to each of them is what drew me in immediately. I love the relationships between each character and also the backstories of each and every single one of them.
Generally speaking I loved this book, the only reason I’m not giving it the full 5 stars it might deserve is because (spoiler warning!) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, KAZ KISS HER, YOU’RE KILLING ME MAN!!
