The different points of view make the narrative richer and easier to read. It adds depth and more complexity, for even more suspense.
Addie kind of annoyed me at first, the way how she reacted or did things didn’t fit for me. But when I gave it more thought, it became clear that maybe that’s how somebody in a real situation like this would react. Therefore, with that in mind, Freida McFadden created believable characters. I kept going, stop reading never crossed my mind, and with every twist coming my earlier disappointment dissolved into thin air. Those twists in the second part changed my opinion to the positive. The story begins rather predictable, I thought I knew where the author was leading me only to be taught otherwise. This may be my third or fourth book from Freida McFadden, but so far I have learned to expect the unexpected, and that her books always end with a surprising final twist. I’m ready for her next creation.
