Daphne and Peter were about to get married - but then he dumps her for his childhood best friend Petra. Miles was very much in love with Petra - but then she dumps him for her childhood best friend Peter. SInce Daphne has no place to stay and Miles needs a roommate and have at least that one thing in common, it only makes sense that she moves in with Miles. And she is determined that they stay only roommates, until they post a picture that makes them look like a couple - and chaos starts unraveling.
I enjoyed this book a lot! Daphne and Miles were both loveable Characters and most of the side characters were just as great. I cannot not love a children’s librarian! The whole setting of a small town was so cozy and cute. I also liked the fact that friendships were also a very important topic and that the characters opened up to each other about family issues.
Overall a funny story 😉 and a perfect summer read!
