The first thing that appealed to me was the subject matter, a murder case combined with sleepwalking. Although it seems to happen much more frequently, it is rarely discussed. The thought of murdering in your sleep, waking up as if nothing had happened and not even knowing it is terrible.
I didn’t lose any sleep reading this novel, but I still read it in no time. On the one hand, it’s the writing style and on the other, the different perspectives from which the story is told that captivated me as well as the subject matter. The characters didn’t impress me, but they fit well into the story.
Normally I don’t attach much importance to praise from the media, I prefer to form my own opinion. But with this novel, I share the opinion from the advertising. Brilliantly done, I hope more work will follow.
