This review has tiny spoilers if you haven’t read the book yet!!!
This book is a 3.75 for me. At first, I was very intrigued by the whole setting of the story and how Alicia did what she did. Later in the book, when it was more about Theo’s life, my interest somewhat decreased because I wanted to know more about Alicia and how she had gotten to the point of t twist was revealed. I understood, that the timelines one is reading about aren’t actually separate and far apart, but they follow the same timeline. That is when I couldn’t put the book down anymore. I needed to know why Theo had done what he had done and how Alicia reacted to it.
At the end of the book, the open ending was very suitable, but I would like to know what Inspector Allan had read to Theo in Alicia’s last entry and how Theo reacted to it.
I have conflicted feelings about this book because so many readers said, that it was an amazing psycho-thriller. And yet I wished it had more of the elements it is described .not talking anymore for multiple years.
