I love this book. If you want to delve into another time and experience London as a woman at the exact time that the murders of “Jack the Ripper” happen, then this is your book. Even though I have to say I have never read a trashier book in terms of romance, it is a must-read. Not only do you learn about history, but you travel through time through the eyes of a courageous woman mastering her life after many losses. Everyone I have recommended this book to has loved it. It’s dark and cheesy, and every time you think enough is enough, something else happens. But it’s my favorite book. I read the last few pages while I was walking home, and I remember the moment I came back to my world, the colors of the surroundings reappearing. I had really traveled through time. Fiction with a well researched historical background.
