This addictive story holds you in its chilly grasp, you can feel how the tension is building up. So much so that I was glad not to be there instead of Mila.
The story begins in my opinion very powerfully, with Mila as a strong main character, the atmosphere is a little claustrophobic, but it doesn’t stop there. When you think it can’t get any scarier, the author tops it off once more.
Other reviewers on the net rated this book as too predictable, an opinion I can’t share, the story could also have concluded differently. With those twists, I had no clue until close to the end, and that’s in my opinion how it should be.
Only the middle part is a little long-winded, that’s where the story loses some speed and suspense.
If you are interested in psychological thrillers and aren’t averse to learning some survival skills, then this is the book for you.
