With every page you turn, you learn something new.
It’s really training in awareness, if you are not already practising mindful habits, you certainly will after reading this book. Because it’s very easy, you only need to make small changes in your daily life. You may not be able to implement every single lesson the author explains, but maybe a variation of it.
A nice little book, beautifully illustrated.
Those small lessons, some are really small, can be read easily and quickly maybe once every day as a kind of ritual.
That’s the easy part, implementing them into our busy life is the hard part. Concentrating on one lesson would be a wise approach. With time you may be able to add more the Zen way.
I chose this book because everything around the Zen lifestyle interests me, many lessons are interesting and others I’ve encountered are rather difficult to apply to our European lifestyles. You can’t read it like a normal novel, the amount of wisdom and advice is too overwhelming though informative. This book can be used as a kick-off to a more mindful lifestyle, to calm your mind. With practice and patience, you may even be able to think about nothing at all.
