It’s a lengthy story, due to the Unabomber’s ability to elude an arrest for many years. During this hunt, a lot of evidence had to be investigated, which resulted in one of the longest and most expensive investigations.
I have found the interviews with the agents and behind the curtain look very interesting and informative. This book doesn’t only tell the Unabomber’s story, but the author also tries to set things right. Because his story had been distorted by many earlier documentaries. Furthermore, Lis Wiehl praises the hard meticulous work of the authorities, but also she doesn’t leave out what went wrong during the investigation. She includes every detail and all the up and downs, definitely a must-read.
