It took me a while to finally sit down and read this book. I have heard many good things about the book. You either like it or you don’t. Despite my expectations, I really enjoyed this book. It is very smoothly written and easy to read. It is a feel-good read with an important message. Throughout the book, I recognized myself in several situations, and although I’m not really interested in philosophy, the story definitely sparked my interest in reading Thoreau’s Walden. I think this book is best suited for people who struggle a bit with life, as it shows them from a fictional point of view what life really is, and that small decisions change the way it happens. That is why you will never be able to predict anything, because the only thing you can do is live, as the author puts it nicely.
