The sequel to “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” was a treat again.
I really enjoy Holly Jackson’s writing style and the way she told the story all around Pip’s determination with finding all the crucial clues, and all the set backs along the way.
I absolutely adore Ravi. They’re good toghether. Also, his jokes, etc. are so funny and desperately needed sometimes 😊
The reason why it’s not 5 stars this time is because of the ending. It felt rushed and somehow read very anticlimactic. Which is so sad as the rest of the story had me practically glued to the pages.
So, unfortunately the second book couldn’t quite hold up with the first one. I’m still looking very much forward to “As Good As Dead” though - the third book in the series.
