After having read Never Let Me Go (such a fascinating book which I love so much) this was kind of disappointing. Not because of the writing, Ishiguro knows how to write - that’s for sure.
However, there was not one short story that stood out to me and Nocturnes just hadn’t this “wow factor” I experienced with Never Let Me Go.
