I really, really enjoyed this book. This is the type of Romance novel I could read all day long – proven by the fact that I could hardly put it away yesterday and today.

It was soooooo authentic – with a few minor ‘over the top-moments’, but I’m realising that you need a bit of drama in stories

Tiffy and Leon are heartwarming. The way their friendship/relationship evolved felt very real. This is also true when it comes to the communication between the two. I mean, how cute is it that they talk via post-it notes???
Even when they fell short in this departement at one point towards the end in it still read very authentic.

Not just because Tiffy had great friends and Leon an amazing brother, but that helped a lot. This supporting network is just amazing. Flawed and sometimes annoying (maybe safe for Mo) but amazing nonetheless.

One character that is waaaaay down on my sympathy-list is Justin. Uff, this man! The things he said and did are infuriating and maddening, and so not okay. But the author dealt with this topic in a delicate and honest way which made this book so much better.

Although it wasn’t my most favourite style of writing (especially Leon’s point of view - though I get the artistic choice and why she wrote it like that), I can wholeheartedly recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a realistic approach to a plot that, on first glance, seems very unlikely.
One thing to note is that it was a fade to black, which I enjoy so much more than graphic and detailed love scenes, so do not expect too much spice
